Makeup is used to improve features, disguise imperfections and enhance a person’s overall appearance. Though easy to apply, a perfectly made up is not achieved with just that. Makeup should be complimentary to the person’s skin tone, eyes and skin color. Once applied it should also be well blended to avoid looking like a clown.
Useful makeup application techniques should be followed to make makeup work for you and not against you:
• Moisturize. Applying makeup to dry skin makes it appear flaky, lifeless and unflattering. After washing and toning the face, a moisturizer that’s right for your skin type should be applied. It is also encouraged to select a moisturizer with SPF to protect the face from harmful UV Rays.
• Foundation first, concealer after. Some people take care to apply their concealer to hide dark spots and pimples, only to have it erased once they put in foundation. Foundation should be applied first and blended well into the skin. Concealer should then be applied right after; this way concealment of imperfections will last even longer.
• Aim for full impact. A full impact makeup look is well-coordinated and matching for example your eyeshadow should match one item in your outfit.

I was not a big coffee fan. I was more a fruit shake or juice kind of guy. I love to guzzle sweet and icy cold drinks rather than bitter and hot beverages. My love for coffee started when I was accepted in my first job as a teacher. I was up and ready to go by six o’clock in the morning. I wanted to be early since I need to prepare my teaching aids and prevent procrastination. My lunch time my eyes were already drooping and I felt like I need toothpicks to prop them up.
I had no choice but to gulp up a huge cup of coffee. It still tasted bitter to me after 3 packets of sugar and one for the cream. But as I was finishing it, it tasted a bit better. Until one day, I decided to have a glazed donut with my coffee. As I bite into the delicious and soft donut, I sipped my coffee too. The mixture was pure heaven. The combination of the bitterness of the brew and the sweetness of the donut was perfect. I finished five glazed donuts and the big mugs of coffee after that.
I am one of the many who’s addicted to coffee and donuts. And I am not ashamed.

When a few friends asked me to go white water rafting with them, I immediately replied a loud and “No!” Extreme sports for me are never appealing. Well, maybe just a little bit. But I am a scaredy cat and I can’t help being scared.
But when my friends started telling me about their wonderful and non-scary adventures with white water rafting, I was convinced. I knew that I had to go white water rafting to overcome my fears. And also because I needed a break from all the stressful situations I am currently under.
As soon as I made up my mind, I immediate booked for a rafting schedule. When my friends and I made it to the site, I was in awe. The river was gorgeous! Our white water rafting guide also told us numerous details about it that was both educational and interesting. Once I’m suited up and ready for rafting, I was psyched and shaking out of my skin.
Since I was still a beginner, I was taken to the Class III rapids. It is said to have low dips and bigger waves perfect for novices like me. As I was paddling and holding on for my dear life, my adrenaline was pumping. It was great! I can’t wait to do it again.

In this day and age, rare are the times that one will receive a greeting card in the mail. People today usually send out their greetings thru electronic mail or e-mail as it is famously called. There are numerous online sites that offer these free e-greeting cards that can funny, sweet or naughty.
Sending greetings and wishes through email are effortless and extremely convenient. After choosing the appropriate e-greeting card, you just click send and you are done. Friends can instantly view it as soon as they get online. No more going to the post office, buying stamps and waiting for a number of days for the recipient to get your mail. This saves time, money and effort.
Although I also send e-greeting cards to my friends and relatives, I love receiving postcards and greeting cards in the mail. They are a wonderful surprise amidst all the bills and notices that I get daily. As much as possible, I try to send as many greeting cards through the traditional way. Even though sending greeting cards by snail mail takes a long time. It is definitely worth the wait. Seeing the actual handwriting of your loved ones is precious, especially if you haven’t seen them for a long time.

Today was a laid back day for me so I decided to transfer songs in my Ipod Classic. It’s been a long time since I added new and current songs since I have been listening to the same songs in shuffle. Sterephonics, The Veronicas, Nickelback and Ne-yo are some of the few artists that make me high. I think it’s about time to update with the new songs that are coming out today. I also looked up the different Billboard charts to educate myself.
I also took the opportunity to compile all of my 800+ songs in their specific album folder and genre. I also renamed a lot of files to make them more orderly. Also, I updated a few of my songs album arts. While waiting for some songs to be uploaded, I also browsed several of my available music videos I wanted to transfer in my high technology gadget. I especially liked Eric Clapton’s MTV live music video of Tears in Heaven as well as Nirvana’s Rape Me too.
It took me almost half a day organizing my favourite tunes. I took the time to listen to some of my favourite old songs. They totally bring back a lot of memories.

Daniel got an invitation for a dinner party in the mail. It was from his friend Elena. She is celebrating her 30th birthday next week and she wants him to attend.
Elena is Daniel’s friend since college and they haven’t seen each other in a few months since he moved from Chicago to New Hampshire. Daniel really wants to see her though Elena’s party falls on a working week. He just needs to ask his boss if he can take a few days off. It’s has been a long time since he relaxed and spent time with friends ever since he moved.
Elena was ecstatic Daniel made it to her dinner party. She gave a shriek when she saw him. They really missed each other. Daniel immediately felt at home at the party. Also present were other of Elena and Daniel’s mutual friends. They were glad too that he made it.
In the middle of bottomless wine and wonderful lamb skewers, the friends talked about the countless good times they shared together. Elena’s house was filled with laughter and great talk. It was obvious that everyone was having a great time.
Daniel was happy he made the trip to see Elena and his other friends. It was a lovely party. One he won’t forget in a long time.

Every family should go on vacations annually. Not only does family vacations help maintain harmonious relationship between members but it also offer them a chance to let loose and have fun.
Best family vacations are within every family’s grasp. Proper planning and scheduling is needed to achieve this. To ensure that everyone has a great time, pick out an accessible location that has numerous activities that every member can participate in. Consider the whole family’s hobbies, likes and dislikes. If each one likes to be outdoors and be one with nature, it is useless to stay inside a hotel room or resort if they’ll just feel bored and restricted. Why not take the whole family to a wonderful camping site? Here they can gaze at countless stars at night and fish for food in the morning.
If the family loves travelling, try backpacking in another country. This is enjoyable when the kids are big and game enough to take whatever comes their way. Learning a new language, tasting a new cuisine, and witnessing a different culture will surely be unforgettable and addicting.
There is no exact logic to the best family vacations. Just the fact that everyone is together is wonderful enough.
