My Tunes

May 2nd, 2009

Today was a laid back day for me so I decided to transfer songs in my Ipod Classic. It’s been a long time since I added new and current songs since I have been listening to the same songs in shuffle. Sterephonics, The Veronicas, Nickelback and Ne-yo are some of the few artists that make me high. I think it’s about time to update with the new songs that are coming out today. I also looked up the different Billboard charts to educate myself.

I also took the opportunity to compile all of my 800+ songs in their specific album folder and genre. I also renamed a lot of files to make them more orderly. Also, I updated a few of my songs album arts. While waiting for some songs to be uploaded, I also browsed several of my available music videos I wanted to transfer in my high technology gadget. I especially liked Eric Clapton’s MTV live music video of Tears in Heaven as well as Nirvana’s Rape Me too.

It took me almost half a day organizing my favourite tunes. I took the time to listen to some of my favourite old songs. They totally bring back a lot of memories.

Elena’s Party

May 2nd, 2009

Daniel got an invitation for a dinner party in the mail. It was from his friend Elena. She is celebrating her 30th birthday next week and she wants him to attend.

Elena is Daniel’s friend since college and they haven’t seen each other in a few months since he moved from Chicago to New Hampshire. Daniel really wants to see her though Elena’s party falls on a working week. He just needs to ask his boss if he can take a few days off. It’s has been a long time since he relaxed and spent time with friends ever since he moved.

Elena was ecstatic Daniel made it to her dinner party. She gave a shriek when she saw him. They really missed each other. Daniel immediately felt at home at the party. Also present were other of Elena and Daniel’s mutual friends. They were glad too that he made it.

In the middle of bottomless wine and wonderful lamb skewers, the friends talked about the countless good times they shared together. Elena’s house was filled with laughter and great talk. It was obvious that everyone was having a great time.

Daniel was happy he made the trip to see Elena and his other friends. It was a lovely party. One he won’t forget in a long time.

Best Family Vacations

May 2nd, 2009

Every family should go on vacations annually. Not only does family vacations help maintain harmonious relationship between members but it also offer them a chance to let loose and have fun.

Best family vacations are within every family’s grasp. Proper planning and scheduling is needed to achieve this. To ensure that everyone has a great time, pick out an accessible location that has numerous activities that every member can participate in. Consider the whole family’s hobbies, likes and dislikes. If each one likes to be outdoors and be one with nature, it is useless to stay inside a hotel room or resort if they’ll just feel bored and restricted. Why not take the whole family to a wonderful camping site? Here they can gaze at countless stars at night and fish for food in the morning.

If the family loves travelling, try backpacking in another country. This is enjoyable when the kids are big and game enough to take whatever comes their way. Learning a new language, tasting a new cuisine, and witnessing a different culture will surely be unforgettable and addicting.

There is no exact logic to the best family vacations. Just the fact that everyone is together is wonderful enough.
