When Christmas isn’t Merry: The Story behind the Dallas Fireplace Chimney Sweep
November 13th, 2009I grew up as a happy and loved child. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I received lots of gift from my parents and friends even though my birthday was several months ago. As a child, I grew up knowing that the Fireplace and Chimney is where Santa Claus passed through to leave his gifts beneath the Christmas tree. But one day during my teenage year, one event changed my life where reality hits big time.
As I reach the teenage years I found out that everything I know about fireplace and chimney are just a childhood fantasy. One night, I heard my Dad talking to someone and it was about the Dallas Fireplace Chimney Sweep. He is talking about some services I do not know. On that same night, I saw lots of gifts on my parents’ cabinet with my name. Few minutes after, I saw him putting all those gifts on the Christmas tree and wrote from Santa. I cried. I was betrayed. My heart was broken into pieces. It was my saddest Christmas. After my parents found out, they explained to me the truth that there is no Santa that can pass through the chimney because it is very hot and can cause someone’s death.
